Privacy Policy

This policy covers kelseymwagner.com, the website for Kelsey Wagner's civic strategy consulting practice. It explains what the site collects, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect

The site has one form. When you submit it, we receive whatever you type into it:

• Your name and email address (both required)
• Your city or organization, if you provide it
• Which service you selected
• The message you write

We do not run advertising or marketing trackers, and the site sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting provider processes your IP address as an ordinary part of serving the page and protecting it from abuse; we do not use it to identify you.

How we use it

Solely to read and respond to your inquiry. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the services listed below. We do not add you to a mailing list — if we ever start one, joining it will be a separate, deliberate choice you make.

Third-party services

Two companies process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and runs the form handler. Processes IP addresses and request data for delivery and security. Cloudflare's privacy policy
• Resend — delivers the form submission to our inbox as an email. Handles the contents of your message in transit. Resend's privacy policy

Once the email arrives, it sits in a Google Workspace inbox operated by My Media Matters, subject to Google's terms as our email provider.

Cookies and analytics

This site currently runs no analytics and sets no cookies. There is nothing to opt out of and no consent banner, because nothing is being tracked. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and this section will say so plainly — including how to control it through your browser settings.

Data retention

Form submissions live in our email inbox and are kept as long as the business conversation is useful — typically no more than three years for inquiries that do not become engagements. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your rights

Email kelsey@mymediamatters.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We aim to respond within five business days. You do not need to give a reason.

Children's privacy

This site is directed at municipal staff and elected officials. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
